About the Role
A confidential company in Dubai is seeking a Steel Detailer to prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for structural and miscellaneous steel projects.

Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for structural and miscellaneous steel projects
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design documents
- Generate material take offs, bills of materials (BOM), and cutting lists
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, fabricators, and site teams to resolve design and detailing issues
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements
- Review and revise drawings based on comments from engineers, clients, and fabrication teams
- Maintain drawing records and document revisions accurately
- Assist in identifying fabrication and erection challenges and propose practical solutions
- Support project schedules by delivering detailing packages within deadlines
Requirements
- Experience in preparing detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for structural steel projects
- Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design documents
- Proficiency in generating material take offs, bills of materials, and cutting lists
- Ability to coordinate with engineers, project managers, fabricators, and site teams
- Knowledge of industry standards and client requirements
