Job Purpose
The Facilities Management team supports Emirates' commercial hotels and residential property portfolios.
The Design & Projects Manager plans, manages, and directs facilities, fit-out, renovation, drawing, engineering planning, and design work for UAE and overseas projects.
Projects must be delivered effectively and efficiently in accordance with company standards.
Role Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to support on-time delivery, standardized specifications, costings, quality, and cost control.
- Plan, manage, and control fit-out projects while coordinating consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Establish and implement interior design standards for commercial properties in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Review and negotiate material and design approvals to secure quality, competitive market value, and required standards.
- Monitor contractor progress against schedule, quality, design, and cost.
- Maintain building standards and manage construction and renovation activities.
- Partner with the Facilities commercial unit to develop space planning standards.
- Advise UAE and overseas user departments on construction and renovation requirements through execution and commissioning.
