Role Overview

Lead the design and coordination of roads, drainage, utilities, and related infrastructure for an airport renovation project.

Prepare engineering drawings, layouts, specifications, and technical documentation while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Review road geometry, pavement, intersections, access, drainage, traffic management, signage, road markings, and safety barriers.
  • Review stormwater, potable water, sewerage, irrigation, fire water, electrical, and telecommunications networks.
  • Identify design gaps, utility clashes, and technical interfaces across infrastructure packages.
  • Coordinate with consultants, designers, project teams, airport stakeholders, and authorities.
  • Review design changes, technical queries, value-engineering proposals, and proposed deviations.
  • Provide technical support to project and construction teams and review handover documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
  • At least 10 years of experience in large-scale airport renovation projects.
  • Relevant airport infrastructure and operational airport environment experience.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and BIM platforms.
  • Proficiency in flexible and rigid pavement design, including polymer-modified asphalt.
  • Experience supporting construction contracts, technical reviews, reports, drawings, estimates, and project financial control.
  • International experience is preferred, particularly in the Middle East or KSA.
