Role Summary
The position involves product design and development, including concept creation, detailed design, and preparation of manufacturing drawings.
The role includes analytical engineering, engineering change documentation, ECN execution, drawing creation and modification, and BOM management using PLM tools.
Designs must be robust, manufacturable, and cost-effective while meeting engineering standards and manufacturing requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2–5 years of experience, or a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent with up to 2 years of experience.
- Experience in design engineering for refrigeration or air-conditioning applications and a good understanding of HVAC systems.
- Strong understanding of CAD tools for creating 3D models and 2D drawings; Unigraphics-NX is preferred.
- Good understanding of PLM workflows, BOM, and ECN is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in concept development, structural mechanics, and mechanical design principles.
- Experience applying analytical and data-driven approaches to engineering decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including presentation experience.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and learning abilities.
