Role Overview

The Deployment Strategist is responsible for making AI deployments successfully land with enterprise customers.

The role leads customers from early discovery through pilot and production rollout.

The role connects customers, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Product to align scope, purpose, and production success.

This is a hands-on role requiring ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and end-to-end project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Embed with customers to understand their processes and systems and identify important problems to solve.
  • Lead discovery to understand enterprise workflows, constraints, and success criteria.
  • Define scope, success metrics, and integration plans for pilots and rollouts.
  • Translate customer needs into executable deployment plans for engineering teams.
  • Coordinate deployments across Product, Engineering, and customer stakeholders.
  • Track progress, manage risks, and remove blockers throughout deployment.
  • Support production launches and ensure solutions are adopted and working as intended.
  • Monitor deployed agents and drive improvements based on real usage.
  • Identify additional customer use cases and expansion opportunities.
  • Spend time onsite with customers to work through constraints and ensure solutions deliver value.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in deployment-focused, technical, or execution-oriented roles.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems and turn them into concrete plans.
  • Comfort with APIs, MCP, data flows, and system integrations.
  • Clear communication and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • High ownership mindset and bias toward action.
  • Interest in building and deploying AI-powered systems in real environments.

Nice to Have

  • Background in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or forward-deployed roles.
  • Prior hands-on engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting production software launches.
  • Experience working in high-growth or early-stage environments.
