This role is based in our 5 Howick Place office.
As Deployment Architect for the Buying Experience (Lead to Cash) Workstream of our OneInforma programme, your role is to design a strategy and framework (with supporting artefacts) that enables deployment of the Buying Experience solution to a collection of businesses in a scalable, repeatable way, encompassing readiness assessments, localisation changes, change management, testing and go live activities. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, experience with complex transformations, and the ability to balance standardisation with flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
Ownership of the overall strategy including phasing, sequencing, and deployment models
Determine the optimal rollout sequence across businesses based on complexity, dependencies, and risk
Create decision frameworks for standardisation vs. customisation approaches
Define configuration management strategies to handle business-specific variations
Design rollback and contingency strategies for each rollout phase
Quantify resource demands and timings to inform execution planning
Formalise an appropriate governance approach and decision-making processes
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements
Establish testing strategies including UAT, integration, and performance testing
Continuously review performance and refine framework to improve performance, reliability and quality
What Makes this Role Exciting
This is a rare chance to help steer a multi‑million‑pound transformation at a FTSE 50 company - work of real scale and consequence. The programme is ambitious and high stakes but you’ll be at the centre of a global change effort, balancing a clear central mandate with practical, on‑the‑ground execution across divisions. It’s a platform to step into a large programme-focused role, navigate risk, shape strategy, and turn decisions into outcomes visible in the business and to customers.
You’ll gain meaningful exposure to senior stakeholders, sales leaders, and operations, with tangible impact on the buying experience and Lead‑to‑Cash, grounded in the cyclical and physical realities of the events business. You’ll build credibility by setting clear direction, enabling teams, anticipating issues early, and maintaining healthy, constructive tension to keep momentum.
You’ll also be well supported - with strong sponsorship, a collaborative peer network, and room to grow. Expect to define the strategy, refine a global business readiness playbook, deepen your change leadership, and deliver achievements that accelerate your career.
Essential: Previous experience in Salesforce and Lead-to-Cash change and transformation programmes
Extensive Business Readiness experience, defining strategy centrally while directing divisional BR teams to execute locally
Experience in multinational organisations, navigating global scale and fragmented structures effectively
Appreciation of the events business model, including cyclical rhythms and physical on-site operations
Deep commercial empathy for sales teams, understanding income-at-risk dynamics and event-led customer engagement
Background in or close partnership with B2B sales to reduce buying friction
Strong influencer who holds stakeholders accountable to deadlines with constructive, positive challenge
Quickly builds trust-based relationships across diverse stakeholder groups- seen as reliable and decisive
Executive presence and gravitas, adept at managing upwards and laterally without formal authority
High emotional intelligence and excellent listener- communicates with clarity and empathy
Proactive risk sensing, anticipating issues before they surface and mitigates early
Skilled peacekeeper who maintains healthy, constructive tension to drive outcomes
Enablement mindset, removing blockers and empowers teams rather than acting as a gatekeeper
Proven delivery across large, complex, multi-division programmes in matrixed environments
Strong change management capability, closing the loop between readiness insights and change execution
Expertise in Lead-to-Order, Quote-to-Cash, or similar end-to-end business processes.
Experience with CRM and Order Management systems (e.g., Salesforce Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud).
