- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards under the direction of the Chef
- Ensure recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines are followed accurately
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations
- Support stock management, mise en place, and kitchen setup
- Assist in supervising and mentoring Commis Chefs
- Support opening and closing duties
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Demi Chef or strong Commis Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining venue
- Solid knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and hygiene standards
- Ability to lead and guide junior team members in a professional manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service hours
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Good English communication skills

Overview

- This position is based on AMAALA Island, a remote and exclusive destination on the Red Sea.
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience as a Demi Chef or strong Commis Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining venue
- A genuine passion for food, cooking, and culinary craftsmanship
- Solid knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and hygiene standards
- Ability to lead and guide junior team members in a professional manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service hours
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Good English communication skills (Arabic a plus)
