Overview
Soluna Restaurants and Beach Club is a Mediterranean-inspired beach club at the Balqis Residences on Palm Jumeirah.
The venue offers beach, poolside, dining, pastry, and bakery experiences within The First Group Hospitality portfolio.
Job Description
- Complete station opening and closing procedures to the required standard.
- Know menu items, recipes, production methods, and presentation standards.
- Follow standardized recipes and specifications for consistent quality.
- Prepare pizza and dough and support breakfast and buffet operations.
- Minimize overproduction and food waste through rotation, labeling, and proper storage.
- Handle, store, prepare, and serve food according to hotel and government safety guidelines.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report equipment or food-quality deficiencies.
- Run the section with confidence and urgency and work closely with the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie.
- Perform Chef de Partie duties in the Chef de Partie’s absence.
- Apply HACCP principles and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Desired Skills and Expertise
- At least two years of culinary experience.
- Good knowledge and practical skills in Western and Italian cuisine.
