Job Description
- Rose Rayhaan by Rotana is seeking a passionate and dynamic Demi Chef de Partie for the Pastry Kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in the daily operation and work.
- Work according to the menu specifications by the Chef de Partie.
- Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to hotel rules.
- Control food stock and food cost in his section.
- Prepare the daily mis en place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellites.
- Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate superiors.
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation.
- Instruct and lead subordinates through their daily requirements in food preparation.
- Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
- Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef's training course.
- Previous experiences in quality establishments.
- Good culinary skills.
- Ability to communicate well in English.
- Proven track of food preparation, presentation and preservation knowledge.
