• Key Responsibilities for Demi Chef de Partie – Kitchen Team
• Support the Chef de Partie in preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standard in your designated section.
• Follow kitchen recipes, portion control, and presentation specifications for all menu items consistently.
• Assist with food preparation and mise en place for daily service, ensuring readiness and efficiency throughout shifts.
• Maintain strict standards of hygiene and food safety, adhering to all HACCP and health and safety policies.
• Monitor, record, and report stock levels and wastage, ensuring effective storage and usage of all ingredients.
• Collaborate with the wider kitchen team, communicating effectively to ensure smooth service delivery and a positive working environment.
• Assist in the training and support of junior staff, sharing best practices and upholding kitchen standards.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and workstations remain clean, organised, and safe at all times.
• Adapt to changing priorities during busy periods and help other kitchen sections when required.
