- Prepare, cook, and present high quality dishes within assigned kitchen section
- Support the Chef de Partie in daily operation of section and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
- Take ownership of workstation – maintain stock levels, ensure proper food storage, and minimise waste
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking complies with brand standards and local food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist with training and guidance of Commis Chefs and junior team members where required
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment while supporting the wider kitchen team
- Take on other ad hoc duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a hotel, restaurant, or similar kitchen environment
- A passion for food, creativity, and delivering exceptional guest experiences through quality cuisine
- Ability to lift, push and pull objects up to 50lbs (23 kg), including bending and kneeling
- Good grasp of reading, writing, and basic maths
- Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol; above minimum age required and fluent in local language
- Great communication skills; warm, welcoming, easy to talk to, and able to work effectively as part of a team

A Little Taste of Your Day to Day
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high quality dishes within your assigned kitchen section.
- Supporting the Chef de Partie in the daily operation of your section and ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Taking ownership of your workstation – maintaining stock levels, ensuring proper food storage, and minimising waste.
- Ensuring all food preparation and cooking complies with brand standards and local food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assisting with the training and guidance of Commis Chefs and junior team members where required.

- Taking on other ad hoc duties like a true team player.
What We Need from You
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a hotel, restaurant, or similar kitchen environment.
- A passion for food, creativity, and delivering exceptional guest experiences through quality cuisine.
- The strength to lift, push and pull objects up to 50lbs (23 kg), which can also involve bending and kneeling.
- A good grasp of reading, writing, and basic maths.
- The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol – you'll need to be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language.
