Overview
- We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and detail oriented Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to the highest standards in the designated section.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to the recipe, portion control, and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food storage, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Follow company protocols for food handling and kitchen equipment.
- Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Support and assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef as needed.
- Contribute to the overall success of the kitchen by being an active part of the team.
- Assist in stock management, ensuring that ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Report any stock shortages or discrepancies to the senior chef in charge.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, though training can be provided.
- Passion for cooking and food quality.
- Good knowledge of kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
