Role Overview
The hotel is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to join its culinary team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role supports food preparation, cooking, plating, kitchen quality, hygiene, and consistent dining experiences.
The position works closely with the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, outlet chefs, and other kitchen team members.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate à la carte and buffet food according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen colleagues and outlet chefs during daily shift briefings.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily features, and promotions.
- Check mise en place for freshness and quality.
- Rotate refrigerated products to reduce waste and spoilage.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly maintained work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Communicate guest feedback and menu performance to outlet chefs.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures.
- Manage multiple tasks and suggest improvements in a fast-paced kitchen.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–6 years of professional culinary experience in a hotel or fine dining establishment.
