Purpose of the Role
The Delivery Lead is accountable for delivery of the bank's investment management platform and broader technology change agenda.
The role covers front office investment, middle office, and private wealth functions and combines project delivery with business analysis.
The position uses investment management experience across private and public markets to ensure platforms and workflows are fit for purpose.
Project and Programme Delivery
- Lead delivery of the investment management platform build-out and downstream programme work.
- Select waterfall, agile, or iterative delivery methods based on initiative characteristics and risk.
- Own technology integrations with internal and external platforms, market data providers, and third parties.
Business Analysis
- Lead business analysis across front office investment, middle office, and private wealth functions.
Vendor and Commercial Management
- Manage vendors delivering investment platform and related project work on fixed-price or time-and-materials engagements.
- Track time-and-materials vendor usage and spend against agreed scope.
- Manage project and programme budgets, escalate variances, and maintain approved spending boundaries.
Governance, PMO and Methodology
- Establish delivery methodology, standards, governance, PMO templates, artifacts, and supporting project management tools.
- Plan and manage the Change Advisory Board process, including risk assessment, business sign-off, and release scheduling.
- Own Technology delivery risk and audit responses and coordinate external assessments and departmental audits.
- Compile portfolio reporting across Technology applications, projects, and spend.
Experience and Qualifications
- 10 to 15 years of experience in investment management, private wealth, or asset management technology, including several years in private markets technology.
- Strong project and programme delivery experience across waterfall, agile, and iterative methodologies.
- Business analysis experience across investment operations, including front office, middle office, and portfolio management workflows.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project or a similar project management and planning tool.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and PMP or equivalent formal project management certification.
- CFA, CAIA, or IMC certification is desirable.
