DC 1 Power Technician

Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience or equivalent as determined by the installation supervisor, CI manager and Maicom management.

Proficiency in the installation testing and turn-up of DC power systems, inverter, batteries, the installation of iron work, equipment cabinets, BDCBBs, BDFBs and related hardware.

Hold current training certificates from each manufacture of equipment that is being installed

Maintain a yearly update of the manufacture’s training or as required by the manufacture

Hold a certificated of completion from a training facility providing a appropriated curriculum.

Be capable of performing the same work operations/job activities as a Skill Level 3 installer without supervision or direction.

Be capable of performing as the Installation supervisor in-charge person.

Be capable of performing additions, removals and modifications on working equipment and circuits. All Level 4 work operations/job activities may include:

Circuit modifications

Software additions, upgrades or updates

Power transition work

Addition or removal of batteries

Position Type : This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.

The pay range for this position in California is $25-30.00/hr. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience (in addition to medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered). This information is provided per the California Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on the market location.
