Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain enterprise Oracle database environments
- Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity utilization
- Configure and manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN environments
- Perform database installations, upgrades, migrations, and patch management
- Optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and overall database performance
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
- Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis
- Ensure database security, user access management, and compliance with organizational standards
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to support business applications
- Prepare technical documentation, database health reports, and operational recommendations
- Continuously improve database reliability, scalability, and performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Database Administration
- Strong hands on experience with Oracle Database Administration in enterprise environments
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and Performance Tuning
- Oracle Database certifications are highly preferred
