- Design, implement, and maintain database solutions to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and database structures
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
- Implement database security policies, access controls, and compliance standards
- Troubleshoot database related issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support business applications
- Perform database upgrades, patches, and migrations when required
- Develop and maintain database documentation, procedures, and best practices
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across all systems
- Proactively identify opportunities for database performance improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Database Administration or Database Engineering
- Strong experience with Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, query optimization, and database tuning
- Experience in backup and recovery management
- Knowledge of database security and access management
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English

About The Role
