- Install, configure, and patch Oracle & SQL Server database software

- Administer databases to meet evolving company needs

- Proactively monitor databases and fine tune when required
- Manage database backups, recovery, and replication requirements
- Regularly update database security protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer engineering or computer science
- Oracle Database administration certification
- Minimum 3 years proven work experience as a Database Administrator
- Familiarity with Oracle & SQL Server database design, coding, and documentation
- In depth knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL
- Good knowledge of programming languages PL/SQL and T SQL
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a mixed culture team

Job Purpose
- The Job holder is responsible for accurately and securely using, maintaining and developing storage database structures within the organization.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Installing, configuring and patching the Oracle & SQL Server database software.
- Creating storage database structures with high level security features.
- Administering databases to meet the evolving needs of the company.
- Setting up and managing database user accounts.
- Documenting and maintaining changes in the database environment aligning to Organization data governance policies.
- Proactively monitoring the databases and fine tuning whenever required.
- Managing database backups, recovery and replication requirements.
- Regularly updating the database security protocols.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in computer engineering or computer science.
- Oracle Database administration certification.
- Proven work experience of min 3 years as a Database administrator.
- Familiarity with Oracle & SQL Server database design, coding, and documentation.
- In depth knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL.
- Good knowledge of programming languages PL/SQL and T SQL.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a mixed culture team.
Pay
- AED 13,000.00 AED 15,000.00 per month
