- Support implementation of database encryption solutions including TDE
- Configure and manage encryption for data at rest and data in transit

- Monitor database performance, availability, and security
- Perform database installation, upgrades, patching, migrations, and version management
- Manage database backup, recovery, replication, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions

- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, and project teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of hands on experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong experience administering Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other enterprise database platforms
- Hands on experience implementing database encryption technologies such as TDE
- Experience configuring SSL/TLS encryption for secure database communications
- Strong understanding of database security principles, access control, and encryption best practices
- Experience with database backup, recovery, replication, clustering, and high availability architectures
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and performance tuning skills
- Strong documentation and communication skills

- Professional certifications such as OCP, Azure Database Administrator Associate, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or CISSP.
