Data Warehouse & Integration Senior Manager (2023431)

This position is hands on design, development and optimization of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence.

Responsibility include detailed designing of the processes and integration for extract, cleanse, transform, and load Data to Data Warehouse using engineered systems and ETL Tools (ODI, Informatica).

Must have the ability to understand the overall business requirements and integrate them into the design.

This individual must have required ETL design and integration skills to extract data from the source systems on premise and cloud applications ( E-business Suite, Oracle Retail Applications, Oracle Hyperion , CRM, Taleo, etc )

• Develop logical and physical design of Data warehouse to ensure design is consistent and well integrated with existing conceptual, logical, and physical application architectures
• Maintain, and communicate processes and standard practices related to the design, development, and implementation of Data warehouse and BI application solutions and pattern
• Foster and encourage Data Warehouse solutions reuse within on premise and cloud applications
• Research and evaluate Data warehouse, BI and system integration technologies, products, and solutions, and make recommendations on technology/production introduction, phase out, and retirement.
• Define data element requirements including history, timeliness and frequency of data
• Support Company’s Cloud Application initiatives and develop in premise and cloud application integrations
• Test a Data Warehouse and BI to prepare for, administer, and validate the results of unit, vendor, component integration, system acceptance, deployment readiness, and user acceptance testing to ensure conformance to business, functional, and quality requirements
• Design, deploy and install data warehouse and business intelligence software and infrastructure as per the requirements of the business and evolution of technology
• Perform maintenance of data warehouse and business intelligence infrastructure through specific activities such as patching, upgrading, troubleshooting etc. in order to ensure and maximize performance
• Perform periodical back-ups for applications and database(s) in order to ensure availability of data and applications until point of failure and mitigate risk of data loss
• Ensure performance optimization for data warehouse and business intelligence infrastructure by reviewing configuration, identifying areas of improvement and taking appropriate actions (e.g. database and application tuning) in order to maximize performance
• Ensure high availability of data warehouse and business intelligence applications through specific actions (e.g. scheduling maintenance activities, increase availability of current solution etc.) in order to ensure limited unplanned interruptions in the performance and availability of business applications and sustain partial system failure
• Design and develop automated complex and efficient ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes in order to ultimately enable the business intelligence reporting
• Manage data security by designing database and application infrastructure in alignment with data security requirements, managing user access according to the business rules and processes in place, monitor security compliance and mitigate security risks (e.g. performing data masking for sensitive data) in order to ensure security and integrity of data
• Monitor data warehouse and business intelligence infrastructure and ETL processes by using appropriate ETL and enterprise management tools to ensure availability of data warehouse and business intelligence services with accurate data
• Support other functions of the business with specific reporting (e.g. Finance department with business intelligence reporting) by gathering requirements and building data warehouse capability (e.g. sourcing data, building visualization capability etc.) in order to enhance decision making process with data insight
• Ensure compliance with data security and integrity policies and procedures by monitoring database access and any other specific actions in order to ensure integrity, security and legal compliance
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all systems and servers by documenting administration activities in order to support users and for internal reference

• BSc in computer science preferably masters in information technology related field
