Job Description
Provide first-level IT technical support to users for hardware and software needs.
Maintain hardware and software and support standardization across operations.
Accountabilities
- Receive hardware and software issues or requests through email, system alerts, and other channels.
- Resolve issues within the agreed service level agreement or reassign them to the appropriate IT team.
- Prepare and archive receiving forms and related documents for new hardware.
- Create email users, install Windows and approved applications, and provide business-domain access for new hires.
- Review hardware warranties, prepare receiving forms for vendor signature, and coordinate timely maintenance.
- Maintain the IT support asset inventory through monthly hardware checks and device preparation.
- Receive new hardware devices and prepare them for business requirements.
- Update user software and applications, including antivirus and Microsoft Office, according to the maintenance plan.
- Keep up to date with new IT trends and technologies.
Work Environment and Schedule
- The role is indoors 100% of the time according to the stated work environment.
- The schedule is five working days with two days off.
- Working hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a one-hour break, with on-call work.
Education and Experience
- BSc in IT or a related field is required.
- The role requires 1–2 years of experience.
Computer Skills and Languages
- Required computer skills include MS Office Suite, networking basics, Windows installation, and infrastructure knowledge.
- English and Arabic are listed as required languages.
