Job Description
Own the bank privacy program end to end across banking channels, regulatory controls, and applicable cross-border requirements.
Privacy Governance
- Maintain and govern the Records of Processing Activities, data flow maps, retention schedule, and lawful basis register.
- Lead DPIAs, legitimate interest assessments, and privacy-by-design reviews for products, core banking changes, AI or analytics use cases, and third-party integrations.
- Manage data subject rights, consent, and complaint handling within statutory timelines.
- Act as liaison with SDAIA, SAMA, and internal audit.
Third-Party and Incident Management
- Run third-party and outsourcing privacy due diligence, data processing agreements, and ongoing vendor monitoring with procurement and legal.
- Drive privacy incident and breach response with SOC and legal, including regulatory notification decisions and root cause analysis.
- Provide board-level reporting on privacy risk and program maturity.
Regulatory Scope
- PDPL, SAMA Cyber Security Framework, and NDMO controls are part of the privacy program scope.
- Applicable cross-border requirements such as GDPR apply to correspondent banking relationships.
