Role overview
RAYNE is seeking experienced Data Privacy Lawyers based in the UAE for its consultant team.
Consultants are embedded within client organisations as extensions of in-house teams and supported by RAYNE throughout each engagement.
The role is intended for fixed-term Data Privacy assignments.
Core responsibilities
- Advise on data protection and privacy compliance, including PDPL and other regional and international frameworks.
- Draft, review, and negotiate data processing agreements, privacy policies, and related documentation.
- Conduct data protection impact assessments and privacy risk reviews.
- Support data breach response, incident management, and regulatory notifications.
- Advise on cross-border data transfers, data governance, and emerging privacy regulation.
- Work confidently in fast-paced, in-house environments.
Candidate requirements
- Candidates typically have 5+ years' post-qualification experience, although this is flexible depending on experience and role.
- Admission in a common law or other recognised international jurisdiction is preferred.
- Candidates should be adaptable, pragmatic, and comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team.
