Role Overview
Develop and operationalize data privacy policies, processes, standards, principles, guidelines, and templates.
Support compliance with KSA PDPL and NDMO requirements across banking operations.
Responsibilities
- Advise the bank and employees on data processing requirements under KSA PDPL.
- Provide guidance on DPIA for data collection and processing.
- Ensure records and systems containing personal data align with PDPL.
- Develop privacy risk registers with treatment plans, closure dates, and accountable stakeholders.
- Define personal data protection standards for the information security team.
- Conduct vendor due diligence and monitor privacy obligations.
- Review controls and update privacy protection practices.
- Collaborate with SAMA, SDAIA, legal, procurement, business, and technology stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for data subjects and regulatory authorities.
- Report privacy program effectiveness, compliance status, and emerging risks.
Requirements
- Five to ten years of experience in data privacy or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of KSA PDPL and NDMO data protection requirements.
- Experience with DPIA, PIA, RoPA, and personal data breach processes.
- Experience reviewing privacy controls and third-party privacy terms.
