We are seeking an experienced
Head of Data
to lead the design, development, and management of our data infrastructure.
The role ensures the availability of high-quality, secure, and reliable data to support strategic decision-making and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- **Strategy & Leadership:**
- Oversee data management strategy and drive adoption of modern data engineering technologies.
- **Data Architecture & Integration:**
- Ensure effective and reliable data integration across systems, and manage data warehouses for stability and availability.
- **Quality & Governance:**
- Lead data quality initiatives, define KPIs, and enforce data security policies in collaboration with cybersecurity teams.
- **Operational Excellence:**
- Optimize data processing efficiency, manage the section budget, and implement Agile methodologies for project delivery.
- **Collaboration:**
- Work with AI teams to support model training infrastructure and improve data accessibility for analytics and reporting.
- **Team Management:**
- Supervise, mentor, and develop technical staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
Qualifications & Experience
- **Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- **Experience:**
- **Nationals:**
- Minimum 6 years (Bachelor’s) or 7 years (Diploma) in data infrastructure leadership.
- **Certification:**
- CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) is preferred.
- **Languages:**
- Fluent in Arabic and advanced proficiency in English.
