Responsibilities
- Design and implement database structures that meet organizational needs.
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and resource management.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect databases from unauthorized access.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity.
- Provide technical support for database-related issues and troubleshoot problems.
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and monitoring.
- SQL Database Administration – Manage, maintain, and optimize SQL databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and availability.
- Oracle Database Administration – Administer Oracle databases including installation, backup, recovery, performance tuning, and security management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study.
- Proven knowledge of SQL Servers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience
- 4 - 6 years of proven experience in the same field.
