About the Role
RBC Global Asset Management is seeking a Data Management Analyst to join the Data Operations team, ensuring data integrity for securities, issuers, accounts, and benchmarks. You will perform data quality checks, maintain the data warehouse, and collaborate with internal clients.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and enrich RBC Global Asset Management's data warehouse, including security classification, analytics, and reference data across all investment groups
- Perform data quality checks for core data and create securities on GAM's platforms with a high degree of accuracy
- Work in conjunction with team members to ensure data standards are defined and enforced consistently
- Collaborate with internal clients to identify, document, and source data requirements
- Validate data, catch errors early, and escalate issues appropriately to prevent downstream impacts
- Support short to mid term project implementations and contribute to team deliverables
- Document business and technical processes to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity
- Develop toolsets and methods to improve data quality and availability
- Proactively seek opportunities to contribute beyond assigned tasks and support team objectives
- Identify patterns, recurring issues, and suggest proactive solutions to improve workflows
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in asset management or investment management operations
- Understanding of financial instruments (such as fixed income, equity, and derivative securities) and how data flows through the investment management business
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate data and ensure accuracy
- Coachability and growth mindset: receptive to feedback, eager to learn, and comfortable asking for help
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment

What do you need to succeed?
- 1+ years of experience in asset management or investment management operations.

Salary Range
- Expected salary range: CAD 55,000 CAD 90,000 depending on experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs.
- This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
