What is the opportunity?
- The Data Operations team maintains data integrity at RBC Global Asset Management.
- As a Data Management Analyst, you'll ensure accuracy and quality of data for investment operations.
What will you do?
- Maintain and enrich RBC GAM's data warehouse, including security classification, analytics, and reference data.
- Perform data quality checks and create securities on GAM's platforms.
- Work with team members to ensure data standards are defined and enforced.
- Collaborate with internal clients to identify, document, and source data requirements.
- Validate data, catch errors early, and escalate issues.
- Support short to mid term project implementations.
- Document business and technical processes.
- Develop toolsets to improve data quality and availability.
- Proactively seek opportunities to contribute beyond assigned tasks.
- Identify patterns and suggest proactive solutions.
Must have
- 1+ years of experience in asset management or investment management operations.
- Understanding of financial instruments (fixed income, equity, derivatives).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to validate data.
- Coachability and growth mindset.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment.

- Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL and/or Python.

Salary Range
- CAD 55,000 CAD 90,000 per year depending on experience and skills.
