Role Overview
Support implementation of data governance and personal data protection practices by ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, and secure management of organizational and personal data.
Work with business and technical teams to establish governance frameworks, manage data-related risks, and promote data governance and privacy best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data governance and privacy policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with personal data protection regulations and organizational governance requirements.
- Conduct data classification activities and privacy impact assessments.
- Monitor data quality, security controls, and governance practices across the organization.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and awareness initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate data-related risks with business and technical teams.
- Deliver awareness training and communication on data governance and privacy requirements.
- Prepare governance, compliance, and privacy reports and documentation.
- Provide expert guidance on data governance and personal data protection best practices.
- Lead governance and privacy initiatives, continuous improvement, and team delegation.
