Required Skills & Experience

• **Max 8–10 years**
• of experience in data governance, data management, or data quality roles
• **Advanced hands-on expertise in Informatica Axon**
• , including workflow design, metadata modeling, and administration
• Strong experience with
• data lineage tools
• (Axon, Informatica EDC, or equivalents)
• Demonstrated success in
• data quality management
• (rule definition, profiling, monitoring, remediation)
• Working knowledge of
• data modeling, SQL, and metadata management concepts
• Proven ability to work across
• business and IT stakeholders
• to resolve data ownership and ambiguity
• Familiarity with
• data privacy and regulatory frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• **Axon certification**
• or relevant data governance platform certification
• Experience integrating Axon with tools such as
• Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Tableau, or Informatica stack
• Exposure to
• data cataloging and governance ecosystems
• Industry experience in
• financial services, healthcare, or other regulated environments
• Strong
• documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

1. Axon Governance Platform

• Configure and manage
• business glossaries, policies, data quality rules, and data assets
• within Axon
• Design and implement
• workflow automations
• for approvals, stewardship, and exception management
• Enable adoption by
• training business and technical users
• and promoting best practices across domains

2. Data Lineage & Impact Analysis

• Capture and maintain
• end-to-end business and technical lineage
• from source systems to consumption layers
• Collaborate with engineering teams to
• ingest metadata
• via APIs, automated scanners, and manual curation
• Perform
• impact analysis
• for system changes, regulatory requirements, and data migrations

3. Data Quality Management

• Define and operationalize
• data quality rules, KPIs, and monitoring dashboards
• Partner with data stewards to
• triage, root cause, and remediate data quality issues
• Track and report
• DQ metrics and improvement initiatives
• to governance leadership

4. Policy Implementation & Stewardship

• Translate
• regulatory and internal policies
• into
• actionable rules and workflows
• within Axon
• Support
• data ownership models (RACI)
• and onboard business/data stewards
• Maintain
• metadata standards, naming conventions, and data classification frameworks
