Data & ERP Manager

Role Overview

Position Details

• The position is Dubai based.
• The contract type is permanent and full-time.
• The role sits within the Technical Department and IT Management.

Experience and Profile

• Minimum five years of experience in ERP management, ERP implementation, or data management.
• A master’s degree or equivalent is required in a relevant information systems, computing, engineering, or management discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in a multi-entity or international environment is preferred.
• Experience leading at least one complete ERP implementation, migration, or major version upgrade.
• Strong understanding of business processes and their translation into ERP solutions.
• Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English and French.

ERP Platform Management

• Own and manage the functional and technical ERP roadmap.
• Balance business requirements, technical debt, and platform upgrades.
• Lead configuration and functional improvements across finance, purchasing, inventory, sales, projects, and HR modules.
• Plan upgrades and migrations, including testing, cutover, and rollback strategies.
• Manage ERP publishers, integrators, and functional consultants.
• Ensure production availability and performance with infrastructure and development teams.

Data Governance and Quality

• Define and enforce master data ownership, naming, referential integrity, lifecycle, and archiving rules.
• Implement controls to identify duplicate, inconsistent, and incomplete records.
• Maintain the data dictionary and data-flow mappings between the ERP and surrounding applications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations, including GDPR and equivalent frameworks.
• Establish data retention and processing rules.

Integration and Automation

• Design and maintain integrations with identity systems, collaboration tools, field applications, financial systems, and third-party APIs.
• Industrialize imports, reconciliations, batch processing, and scheduled synchronizations.
• Reduce manual processes through workflow automation with development teams.
• Ensure traceability, monitoring, auditability, and error handling across automated data flows.

Reporting and Analytics

• Build and maintain the reporting and analytics layer.
• Develop operational dashboards, management KPIs, financial reporting, and activity reporting.
• Define relevant indicators and establish a reliable single source of truth with business owners.
• Conduct analyses for management decisions, budget preparation, and performance reviews.
• Promote governed self-service data access.

Support and Improvement

• Organize ERP support and manage the qualification, prioritization, and resolution of user requests and incidents.
• Train key users and support ERP adoption.
• Maintain functional documentation and operating procedures.
• Report on platform availability, service quality, and roadmap progress.
• Maintain technology watch and recommend improvements and new technologies.
