Data Engineering Manager (Snowflake/Databricks) | Sydney

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

We are looking for Managers to bring the following capabilities:

+4 years experience working with at least one of Databricks, Snowflake, AWS or Azure technology.

At least 1 formal Certification in these technologies.

Strong experience across at least two of the following :

Spark (preferably pySpark) experience.

SQL and dbt experience.

data ingestion experience highly regarded, either from streaming data sources or transactional systems.

application experience bonus (e.g. Databricks apps).

Hands-on development experience in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

SQL and database skills will be highly regarded.

Strong grasp of data fundamentals, preferably with experience with databases, data warehouses, data lakes or other storage solutions.

Previous consulting or client-facing experience will be highly regarded.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Comfortable working in a flexible and dynamic environment.

Technical certifications will be highly regarded.
