Tackle big issues like cyber, trust, resilience and digital transformation Mentoring, coaching and leadership programs to help you make an impact that matters This is a great opportunity for a Conversational AI & Design engineer to join our Engineering Practice in Australia and help clients turn customer experience strategy into intelligent, human-centred solutions. What will your typical day look like? Working closely with clients, you'll lead the design and delivery of Amazon Connect-based conversational solutions across voice and chat. That could mean running discovery workshops, translating customer experience goals into practical requirements, and shaping interfaces that feel intuitive, effective and grounded in real user needs. A big part of the role is helping clients navigate complexity - balancing design, AI capability, operational realities and stakeholder expectations to land solutions that improve customer satisfaction and streamline service delivery. You'll bring together conversational design, business analysis and delivery thinking to move from concept through to implementation. Success in this role comes through collaboration. You'll partner with technical teams, developers and operational stakeholders, while also mentoring consultants and helping build a strong, supportive team culture around quality, innovation and continuous improvement. Enough about us, let's talk about you You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences: Experience designing and delivering conversational AI solutions across voice and chatbot channels Strong expertise in Amazon Connect and the design of human-centred customer interaction flows Knowledge of natural language processing, AI-driven automation and customer experience strategy Confidence leading client workshops, gathering requirements and advising stakeholders on solution direction Ability to work across business, technical and operational teams to deliver integrated outcomes Experience leading projects in a consulting environment and managing competing priorities Strong communication and presentation skills, including with senior stakeholders Experience mentoring team members and helping create a collaborative, high-performing culture Why Deloitte?
