Do you want to shape new Data Risk solution offerings by leveraging best practice operational risk and data governance/management approaches and technologies? As a Manager in our Data Risk team, you will lead teams and work with stakeholders to deliver practical and business-aligned advice, strategies, policy frameworks and solutions to help our clients understand and manage various elements of an organisations Data Risk Profile required for the successful execution of their business processes, meet regulatory obligations and customer expectations. You will play a role in the development of solutions to help our clients understand and manage data risk more effectively in response to business, regulator and other stakeholder commitments. This includes the delivery of data risk strategy programs and driving change in our clients to recommend and ultimately adopt leading practice data governance capabilities for their business. About the team The Data Risk team in Deloitte’s Risk and Regulatory business aspires to have an impact that matters by helping our clients manage data risk for the benefits of their business and customers. Our team of experts is embedded in our clients’ transformation and remediation agendas and are constantly curious about combining our industry and technology expertise to build trust in data, unleashing its full potential to create and protect value for all stakeholders. We work with some of the largest and most respected organisations in Australia on real world problems and across all stages of the data transformation journey from designing the change required, to delivering and managing that change and providing assurance around change initiatives. Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You may have all or some of the following skills / experience:
Experience working within or with line 2 operational risk teams on data programs
Experience with data risk profile elements, and data management policies and standards
Experience with the design and implementation of data governance and/or data management solutions plus proven ‘go to market’ capabilities in these areas
An understanding of operational risk management frameworks and processes (e.g. risk appetite, risk identification, risk assessment etc.) - preferable
Strong client facing delivery experience with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels leveraging your strong written and verbal communication skill
Awareness of the processes underpinning the sourcing and preparation of data (e.g. capital, liquidity, regulatory collections etc.) and awareness of local and global regulatory expectations for data management
Ability to articulate the role that data and technology play in risk and/or regulatory programs
Experience leading and developing teams on risk and data centric programs
Experience leading or participating in proposal development and other business development activities
