Parsons Corporation is seeking a Network Systems Engineer (Saudi national) to support monitoring, administration, and optimization of enterprise telecommunications and IP networks.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze the performance, availability, and reliability of enterprise telecommunications and IP networks
- Collect, interpret, and report network performance metrics and operational data to support system performance, capacity planning, and service reporting
- Develop and maintain software applications and automation scripts using programming languages such as C, C++, Java, PERL, AWK, and SED
- Configure, monitor, and support TCP/IP based network environments and associated communication protocols
- Utilize network management platforms to monitor network health, troubleshoot issues, and improve operational performance
- Support the integration and maintenance of enterprise network management tools and monitoring solutions
- Develop and maintain web based interfaces and reporting tools using HTML, CGI, ASP, or equivalent web technologies
- Analyze network events and recommend performance improvements and optimization strategies
- Assist in troubleshooting complex network and system issues while supporting incident resolution activities
- Support network upgrades, system implementations, and technology refresh initiatives
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and IT teams to deliver reliable network services
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in network engineering, systems engineering, telecommunications, or related IT environments
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking principles and protocols
- Working knowledge of SNMP, ATM, Frame Relay, and enterprise networking concepts
- Experience developing software using C, C++, or Java
- Experience developing automation scripts using PERL, AWK, SED, Shell, or similar scripting languages
- Experience with enterprise network management and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with web development technologies including HTML, CGI, ASP, or similar technologies
- Knowledge of Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems, including Solaris or Windows Server environments
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting multidisciplinary technical teams

- You will contribute to network performance monitoring, systems integration, software development, and operational support to ensure reliable, secure, and high performing network services across mission critical environments.

- Experience with network monitoring platforms such as HP OpenView (HPOV), Netcool, NerveCenter, or equivalent enterprise monitoring solutions.
- Familiarity with network performance analysis, capacity planning, and operational reporting.
- Knowledge of network automation and systems integration best practices.
- Experience supporting mission critical or large scale enterprise infrastructure.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure network operations.
- Knowledge of virtualization, cloud networking, or hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, JNCIA, or equivalent are considered an asset.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
