Role Summary
We are seeking a
Data Architecture & Engineering Section Head
to lead the enterprise data architecture, engineering, and platform capabilities.
This role combines
strategic leadership with hands-on technical oversight
, ensuring that data platforms, pipelines, and engineering standards deliver
high-quality, secure, and governed data assets
.
The Section Head works closely with analytics, BI, product, and governance teams to align architecture and engineering with government priorities and enterprise standards
Experience
- **10–15+ years**
- in data architecture, engineering, or platform delivery roles
- Proven experience leading
- enterprise-scale architecture and engineering teams
- Hands-on experience with
- cloud/on-premise data platforms, data warehouses, lakehouses, and pipelines
Technical Skills
- Expert in
- SQL, Python, Spark, or equivalent data engineering tools
- Deep understanding of
- data modeling, pipeline orchestration, ETL/ELT, and integration patterns
- Familiarity with
- metadata, lineage, data governance, and classification frameworks
- Knowledge of platform performance optimization, security, and scalability
