Role overview
Own and shape data strategy in a newly created senior, hands-on data transformation role.
Lead work across data strategy, analytics, data platforms, automation, CRM, and AI.
Help the organisation improve decision-making, efficiency, and sustainable growth through technology.
Key responsibilities
- Learn the business and audit existing data systems and processes.
- Shape data pipelines, data models, data quality practices, and secure data storage.
- Deliver advanced Power BI, Excel, and analytics solutions that provide actionable insight.
- Design data warehouses and modern reporting tools in an Azure environment.
- Collaborate with C-suite stakeholders, explain technical concepts, and manage transformational change.
Experience requirements
- Experience in a senior Data Analytics or Data Management role.
- Strong skills across Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Python.
- Experience with Azure data environments and a strong understanding of data platforms, engineering, pipelines, and integrations.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills and the ability to produce commercial insight.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A strategic, commercially minded approach and interest in AI and automation.
Technology skills
- Microsoft Azure tools include Fabric, Power BI, and advanced SQL.
- Azure Data Factory experience is desirable.
- CRM, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint support automation and low-code work.
- Data warehousing, data modelling, pipelines, integrations, and secure storage are central to the role.
Workplace
- The role uses a hybrid work-from-home model with three days per week in Watford.
Compensation and benefits
- The advertised package includes salary up to £100,000, a Christmas bonus, pension, private medical insurance, and a death in service scheme worth four times salary.
