Data Analyst Internship (2028 Graduates)

Partner with colleagues to deliver actionable insights that drive decision-making within the BTI and GPM organizations.

Effectively communicate findings to drive adoption and implementation; build dashboards and reporting as needed.

Own and deliver aspects of key projects, including rollout plans, success criteria, and metrics.

Develop domain expertise on Gartner’s data, analytic tools, reports, and data infrastructure.

Take initiative in problem solving, root cause analysis, and devising testing methodologies for validation, and clearly explain data sources to senior audiences.

Collaborate with cross functional teams including data scientists and Information Technology team, to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.

Experience: Academic experience involving analysis of large volumes of data, with hands-on experience using analytical tools.

Ability to gather, analyze, restructure, and articulate insights from qualitative and quantitative data.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (2028 graduate), preferably in a quantitative field such as statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, operations research, computer science, or economics.

Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to approach complex problems, think creatively, and communicate data-driven stories.

Willingness to learn and develop these skills further.

Collaboration and Initiative: Ability to work effectively in teams, engage with stakeholders, and demonstrate initiative.

Eagerness to learn and develop leadership and influencing skills.

Technical Competency: Intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SQL, Python or R

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently.

Gartner offers a hybrid, flexible environment, with remote work and opportunities to connect with colleagues on-site.

Candidates must reside within a reasonable proximity to a Gartner Center of Excellence office location (Irving, TX).
