Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize data from internal systems and client platforms.
• Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Assist in creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations for internal teams and clients.
• Support data quality checks and validation to ensure accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand data requirements.
• Document analytical processes, data definitions, and reporting guidelines.
• Assist in monitoring system performance metrics and generating regular summary reports.
• Stay updated with industry analytics tools, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Ability to interpret datasets and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic project experience with data analytics or reporting.
• Basic knowledge of databases, APIs, or data pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Exposure to marine, industrial, or IoT data is a plus.
• Understanding of data governance, security, or best practices.
