About the Role
Pinnacle is looking for a Data Analyst to leverage data for meaningful insights, support strategic decision-making, and improve software products and business processes. The role requires strong SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and Python skills, with 2-3 years of experience.

Responsibilities
- Collect, extract, clean, validate, and analyze structured and unstructured data from software applications, databases, enterprise systems, APIs, and user activity logs.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, and governance across multiple data sources.
- Analyze software usage metrics, customer behaviour, and application performance to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for product enhancement.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar Business Intelligence tools.
- Monitor and report on key business and product performance indicators (KPIs) to support informed decision making.
- Perform statistical analysis, predictive modelling, trend analysis, and hypothesis testing to identify actionable business insights.
- Develop automated reporting solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes by integrating data from multiple business applications and databases.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Software Developers, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and Project Managers to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and prepare data driven recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate new data analytics techniques, tools, and best practices to enhance reporting capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server for querying and managing large datasets.
- Hands on experience with Business Intelligence and data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Good knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, and advanced analytics.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts including regression analysis, correlation analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive analytics.
- Experience in data cleansing, preprocessing, validation, and transformation of large datasets.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques for consolidating information from multiple sources.
- Experience in building dashboards, reports, scorecards, and KPI monitoring solutions.
- Ability to interpret software usage metrics and convert raw data into meaningful business insights.
- Understanding of business intelligence concepts and performance reporting methodologies.
- Exposure to ETL and data integration tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, or Microsoft SSIS is an advantage.
