Role Overview

Cresdata Information Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst in Dubai.

The role supports business decisions and operational performance through data collection, analysis, reporting, and business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, validate, and maintain data from multiple sources.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Generate actionable insights for strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare regular performance reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and present findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across databases and reporting systems.
  • Automate reporting processes and improve data workflows.
  • Support business planning with timely and accurate analytical reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Candidates need 1–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency is required, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, and advanced formulas.
  • Hands-on SQL experience is required for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau is required for dashboard development.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling techniques is required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Python or R experience for data analysis and automation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or Business Intelligence systems is preferred.
  • Professional certifications in Power BI, SQL, Tableau, or Data Analytics are advantageous.
