Responsibilities
- Manage cybersecurity operations for project information systems and business applications
- Act as primary technical point of contact with vendors and suppliers for cybersecurity solutions
- Develop, maintain, and audit technical and analytical aspects of cybersecurity systems and controls
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of workstations, servers, applications, and networks
- Support secure operation of security technologies and protect sensitive information
- Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
- Provide cybersecurity support, guidance, training, and incident recovery assistance
- Lead and support investigations related to cybersecurity incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and oversee implementation of security controls
- Serve as cybersecurity representative on project teams, technical reviews, and internal committees
- Provide oversight and guidance to infrastructure and client/server teams on cybersecurity requirements
- Monitor cybersecurity risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT infrastructure, or related technology environments
- Strong experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and security administration
- Knowledge of network technologies including MPLS, VPN, and wireless networking
- Strong understanding of IT security principles including firewall technologies, access control, authentication, and digital signatures
- Experience with domain structures, identity management, and user authentication systems
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800 53 and related cybersecurity frameworks and standards
- Ability to evaluate existing security controls and develop remediation plans
- Strong analytical skills with ability to investigate security incidents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, project stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
- CISSP certification (desired)

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist (Senior) to join the team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage cybersecurity operations for project information systems and business applications, including account administration, eDiscovery, incident response, policy compliance, and security technology implementation.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact with vendors and suppliers to develop cybersecurity solutions and provide recommendations to project management.
- Develop, maintain, and audit the technical and analytical aspects of cybersecurity systems and controls.
- Maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of workstations, servers, applications, and networks through effective account management, system hardening, and software updates.
- Support the secure operation of security technologies and ensure the protection of sensitive information through the application of cybersecurity best practices and cryptographic principles.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities that may impact corporate or client information assets.
- Provide cybersecurity support, guidance, training, and incident recovery assistance to end users and project teams.
- Lead and support investigations related to cybersecurity incidents and contribute to cybersecurity improvement initiatives.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and oversee the implementation of security controls and protective measures.
- Serve as a cybersecurity representative on project teams, technical reviews, and internal committees.
