Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage critical security technologies, including firewalls, endpoint protection (EDR), and identity management systems
- Monitor continuous security logs and alerts using SIEM and EDR solutions; analyze anomalies, escalate potential threats, and assist in incident response
- Run regular vulnerability scans, prioritize risks based on business impact, and track technical remediations with system owners
- Manage day to day user access rights across cloud workloads and applications, enforcing RBAC, MFA, and least privilege
- Work alongside IT, product development, and delivery teams to embed secure by design standards into infrastructure lifecycles
- Help develop and maintain clear operational security procedures, compiling documentation and evidence for compliance audits
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations (SOC), or security administration
- Baseline exposure implementing security controls across networks, operating systems, and public cloud environments (preferably GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Foundational familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NCA (ECC), NDMO, ISO 27001, and NIST
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Full verbal and written fluency in both Arabic & English
- Saudi Nationality (mandatory per NCA regulations)

About the Role
- CNTXT is leading the digital transformation and cloud revolution in Saudi Arabia.
- Looking for an ambitious Cybersecurity Engineer to support implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of security controls protecting cloud environments, applications, and data.
- In compliance with NCA regulations, Saudi Nationality is strictly mandatory for this role.
What You’ll Do (Principal Duties)
- Activate Security Controls: Deploy, configure, and manage critical security technologies, including firewalls, endpoint protection (EDR), and identity management systems.
- Threat Monitoring & Triage: Deploy security monitoring solutions and monitor continuous security logs and alerts using SIEM and EDR solutions. Analyze anomalies, escalate potential threats, and assist in incident response and evidence collection.
- Vulnerability Tracking: Run regular vulnerability scans, help prioritize risks based on business impact, and track technical remediations with system owners within defined SLAs.
- Access Control Administration: Manage day to day user access rights across cloud workloads and applications, enforcing Role Based Access Control (RBAC), Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), and the principle of least privilege.
- DevSecOps Collaboration: Work alongside IT, product development, and delivery teams to help embed secure by design standards into the infrastructure lifecycles.
- GRC Documentation: Help develop and maintain clear operational security procedures, compiling documentation and evidence for compliance audits.
Who You Are (Qualification Requirements)
- 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations (SOC), or security administration. Highly competitive internships or academic projects in cloud defense are a plus.
- Baseline exposure implementing security controls across networks, operating systems, and public cloud environments (preferably GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Foundational familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards, such as the NCA (ECC), NDMO, ISO 27001, and NIST.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Full verbal and written fluency in both Arabic & English is mandatory.
Certifications (Preferred or In Progress)
- CompTIA Security+
- (ISC)² Certified in Cybersecurity
- Google Cloud Digital Leader / Associate Cloud Engineer
- Certified Ethical Hacker
Core Competencies
- Value Threat Detection Instincts: A basic understanding of log management platforms, system hardening best practices, and containerized workloads (Kubernetes/GCP).
- Analytical Mindset: The ability to interpret technical vulnerability reports and map basic security controls to strict compliance guidelines.
