Role Overview
Support OT cybersecurity for industrial control systems during FAT/SAT, commissioning, and early operations on a major QatarEnergy project.
The role provides field and commissioning support for onshore and offshore operations in Qatar.

- Work is performed in Qatar across onshore and offshore locations.
- The role involves field and commissioning support from FAT/SAT through early operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site OT cybersecurity implementation, verification, and compliance during FAT/SAT and commissioning.
- Verify firewall configurations, network segmentation, zone/conduit design, endpoint hardening, and access controls.
- Support integration between control systems and firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
- Execute cybersecurity tests, follow up on vulnerability remediation, and close punch-list items.
- Ensure alignment with IEC 62443 and customer OT cybersecurity requirements.
- Conduct assessments, remediation planning, and installation or tuning of cybersecurity solutions.
- Interface with field support engineers, regional offices, and expert resources to resolve issues.
- Participate in customer workshops regarding cybersecurity evaluations.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of OT cybersecurity appliances, applications, tools, and techniques used in DeltaV and similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of OT cybersecurity architecture and controls.
- Experience with DeltaV networking and cybersecurity solutions, antivirus, firewalls, switches, VLANs, and zone/conduit design.
- Working knowledge of IEC 62443 and relevant OT cybersecurity specifications in oil and gas.
- Proven site commissioning experience in OT cybersecurity; an IT-only background is not suitable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in a formal, safety-critical environment.
