Role overview
Co-op is hiring a Customer Team Member for its food store in Dagenham.
The role supports customers and daily store operations, including shop-floor, till, and in-store bakery work.
Experience is not essential and full paid training is provided through mobile assessments.
Contract and schedule
- The role is a permanent part-time contract for 12 hours per week, with regular overtime available.
- The stated pattern is 06:00 to 11:00 on Sunday and Tuesday, with flexible availability across the week and at least one weekend shift.
Pay
- Pay is £14.29 per hour, including the London allowance.
What you will do
- Deliver friendly and thoughtful service and help put things right for customers.
- Work with the team on the shop floor and tills to keep the store running smoothly.
- Work in the in-store bakery and support daily operations.
- Keep shelves stocked and check prices, dates, temperatures, and stock accuracy.
- Promote Co-op membership and support the local community.
