Job purpose
Provide high standards of customer service through telephone banking to existing and potential customers.
Report to the Contact Center Team Leader.
Customer service responsibilities
- Receive inbound calls while meeting established standards for call volume, pickup time, call duration, and call quality.
- Answer customer enquiries efficiently and politely with correct and complete information.
- Redirect customers where appropriate and provide suitable solutions to customer problems.
- Perform customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Perform correct customer maintenance and setup activities.
Sales and ongoing activities
- Identify and maximize selling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance revenue.
- Keep up to date with changes to products, services, and procedures through continuous learning.
- Participate in outbound calling programs and other required projects and activities.
- Perform other duties consistent with the role as assigned by management.
Education and experience
- A high school diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent degree is required.
- Relevant certification in writing, journalism, or another related field is required.
- At least one year of experience in the call-center industry and customer-service fields is required.
Required skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic is required.
- Familiarity with banking systems, Agent Desktop, call recording software, and email communication is required.
- Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office applications is required.
- The ability to remain patient and composed under pressure is required.
