Provide end-to-end leadership and accountability for customer service, inventory governance, warehousing, logistics and strategic customer growth. The role safeguards approximately £10 million of inventory assets, drives inventory accuracy and audit compliance, delivers customer service excellence, and supports strategic growth opportunities
• Lead Customer Service teams and ensure high service levels, OTIF delivery performance and customer satisfaction. • Own inventory governance across finished goods (£6m) and raw materials (£4m). • Lead inventory accuracy, cycle counting, reconciliation and stock integrity programmes. • Reduce inventory variances, obsolete stock and write-offs while improving working capital performance. • Ensure audit readiness and support Finance with stock verification and compliance activities. • Manage logistics, warehousing, transport and freight performance to achieve service and cost targets. • Control warehouse and distribution budget/AOP of approximately £1.5 million. • Act as escalation point for customer service, supply continuity and logistics issues. • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, Finance and Commercial teams. • Support onboarding, service delivery and performance management for McDonald's EU and other strategic customers. • Deliver KPI reporting and continuous improvement programmes. • Adherence with all Company Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. To ensure full co-operation in all aspects of HSE and to act positively on any failings or weaknesses in our systems or procedures, identified by yourself or brought to your attention. • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing direction, coaching and performance management to ensure delivery of business objectives, continuous improvement and a culture of accountability.
