The company operates globally and serves foodservice, retail, in-store bakery, deli, and prepared-food customers.
Role Purpose
The General Laborer performs labor tasks within and around the plant and assists with manufacturing food products.
The role requires physical attendance and adherence to standard manufacturing procedures and processes.
Production Duties
- Assist on production lines with re-casing, repackaging, product rework, pan and tray feeding, pan greasing, garnishing, crumbing, and product assembly.
- Weigh, spread, fill, and inspect cakes while maintaining line speed, product weight, and quality standards.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure production codes and labels are accurate and legible.
- Prepare and maintain materials and equipment at the start, during, and end of production.
- Ensure packaging and materials match SKU formulas and preserve product appearance integrity.
- Read codes and change coder machines when needed.
- Return unused materials to designated warehouse locations and clean, shut down, and prepare coding and taping machines for the next shift.
