Job Summary
The Customer Service Executive – Air Freight is responsible for handling customer inquiries, shipment coordination, order tracking, and operational support to ensure smooth logistics and freight operations.
The role requires strong communication skills, coordination with internal departments and external clients, and the ability to provide timely updates regarding shipments and logistics services.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries through email, phone calls, and other communication channels professionally and promptly.
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse, transport, and sales teams regarding shipment status and customer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain shipment documentation, invoices, delivery orders, and related logistics records.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers regarding delivery schedules and shipment status.
- Resolve customer complaints and service issues efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and agents for smooth shipment movement.
- Ensure all customer records and shipment data are updated accurately in the company system.
- Support customs clearance and documentation processes when required.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Follow company policies, operational procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare daily and weekly customer service or shipment reports for management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customer service operations.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping documentation, and logistics procedures is preferred.
- Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
