Overview

Job Description

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and general ledger entries.
• Payables experience
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with industry standards.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labor, tax, and financial regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• 2 year of experience in a UAE freight and forwarding company is preferable.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and tax laws.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
